RV trip 2006

Day 9 (August 29, 2006) - Caledonia, WI

We drove Francesca to the airport, she made the early plane back to Boston and was happy to part with us. I felt sad parting with her. From now on, it's just the two of us. We drove to Milwaukee, WI where Laura had lunch plans with some of her clients. Got there just in time and met finally Dany, Catherine, Lei and Tatiana. D and C took her out to the Water Street brewery, talked about work and non-work stuff.

We then drove along the lake shore - really beautiful - up to White Fish Bay and decided to camp south of the city in Caledonia.

Tomorrow we will be exploring Milwaukee.

Laura on tiptoes can even look outside the window!

At a railroad crossing, we had to wait for a Union Pacific train to go by - 3 locomotives were pulling coal wagons. I counted 48 before I gave up!

Here's the campground. Very similar to the previous ones. Something tells me the future ones will also look alike.
